Oh, CONTRAire! -Contra Dance Music
Contra dancing is an old New England tradition similar to square dancing. A caller teaches the dances and calls them, usually to live music. The music descends from Celtic roots, and includes jigs and reels as well as a waltz or two to wrap things up. Join us as Oh, CONTRAire brings this special musical tradition out onto the Westford Common. Their music is just plain fun, whether you are dancing or listening.
